Or it could have been tooooooooo damn old.
I am too old to have been involved in common core, but not too old to make a mistake when sending responses when my wife is calling me to dinner.

Common Core really brings out the jerk in people, eh?

A little overly sensitive tonight, aren’t we?

Relax. Take two aspirin and call me in the morning.

Understood, but as one hits 80, the odds go up that one will become "un-viable" for the position. Plus, while I like him a lot, after what he's been through, I can't help but think maybe his ego and want for a form of revenge on those who screwed him might be playing a role.

At any rate, I won't support him in a primary but will send something if he ends up being a candidate for the final election.

It seems I wasn’t reading things right.

Second term, 1986; it was called Simpson-Mazzoli for liberal lawmakers from Cody, WY, and Louisville, KY.

What is this dude thinking? He’s ancient and he was slaughtered for reelection.

Unless he’s gone mad he won’t endorse a candidate that can’t possibly win. He wisely didn’t endorse Moore in the primary.

He may well endorse McSally over Ward, or else stay neutral. Joe? No.

Agreed. He’s too old and has too much baggage. Ironically, he’s also kneecapping Ward and giving McSally a better chance to win.

He endorsed and campaigned for Luther who lost

He does miss

And he did endorse Moore late in the game more than once

http://q13fox.com/2017/12/04/trump-fully-endorses-roy-moore/

I don’t get it..... most freepers hate Bannon and chastise me for not abandoning Bannon yet now Ward is considered to be Bannons pick

http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/news/despite-disavowal-kelli-ward-campaign-tied-to-bannon-and-breitbart-10034564

Yet Freepers are now all over her like the second coming yet Arpaio who is close to Trump is eschewed

Know you’re not dumb so I’m trying to see the machinations behind all this

And Arpaio loved and endorsed Trump and Trump pardoned him

I just don’t see this as cut and dried and I have nothing against Ward

Why is Arpaio running...ego?

Are we to capitulate every time a social righty faces the onslaught from Dems GOPe and media like Roy did?

GHWB not only would have signed it, he would have written it.

Reagan should have fought harder to get Paul Laxalt as his Veep.

One of the deeply interesting things to me is that they guy who first published the audio that took Gov. Bentley down and served to later take Big Luther down, now works in the White House.

Trump had to have known that Alabama would never go with Luther because we saw him as dirty.

That makes me wonder if Trump knew something about Judge Moore that we didn’t.

I’m not going after the Judge at this late date. I think I was one of his biggest defenders here and spent a lot of time getting the back story out.

But what if it all comes down to maybe at least one of the accusations was true and maybe Trump knew that, and knew what was coming, and was trying to head off the catastrophe that happened at the proverbial pass?

Alan Simpson was an (alleged) conservative. But then at that time so was no borders Jack Kemp.

Who was the other contender for the GOP nomination, the Congressman who sometimes sits in for Hannity?

The planets aligned against Moore and he didn’t fight hard enough

GOP Bama stayed home pretty much

Mo Brooks, that’s the guy.

I wonder how he would do in a Senate race.
