The boy isn’t “forever scarred”.
News Flash; boys and girls are different.

Well, it’s still not the most edifying experience in the entire world for him. Though the popular culture thing would be for him to go around bragging about his “conquest.”

Later if/when he marries, he might be a little more inclined to wildcat than otherwise.

Agreed, as to the effect on the minor.

But what's good for the goose, et al. If guys can get nailed (pardon the pun) for this crime, so should the women.

And I would also say that plenty of girls who got their PE coach in the sack are not scarred either.

I had a friend (a boy) who was introduced to sex at age 7 by a neighborhood girl 3 years older.

His entire life centered around sex and girls (until he got religion...thank God for that). He was a maniac until he got saved.

Believe me...I know.

Sex is probably the most powerful thing that can happen to a kid. It's chemical.

It f*cks them up...forever.

They aren't that different. My first sexual encounter was with a girl my age when we were both in high school. I remember it and her fondly. I doubt I'd fondly remember a first sexual encounter with some disturbed middle-aged woman and I doubt most guys who actually had such a first encounter would either.

Depends how you define scarred?

If this boy is conditioned to engage in cheap sex at a young age, then he is likely to have commitment issues. Will likely pressure any girlfriend to "give it up" and solely treat sex as a recreational outlet.

I feel sorry for the boy and his next girlfriend. Ergo, this authority figure is creating a domino effect that harms society which is why these females should be prosecuted. Taxpayers subsidize STDs and unwanted pregnancies; this in itself is why the behavior should not be "rationalized"/live vicariously through this boy by older men who once had fantasies about plowing their teachers and then give this kid a virtual "high five". Society has an expensive problem due to abusing sex which becomes a strain on the tax payer.

If male on female rape is about power, so too is female authority on a student. It's about power in the end.

From my observation, most girls the same age wouldn't be forever scarred either. This is 2018, folks.

Nonsense. How do you know that?

News Flash; boys and girls are different.

Different, schmifferent. Not under the law!

News flash. Boys and girls—and men and women—should be treated equally under the law with respect to such sexual illegalities.

The punishment in this case should be the same as it would be if the sexes were reversed—meaning if the teacher was a 32 year old man and the student was a 15 year old girl...

I beg to differ. A male family member was a victim of this type of crime and it does damage. Different in a way from a girl but harmful just the same.
