The media reaction to President Trump using the word "sh*thole" to describe countries some immigrants are fleeing was swift, harsh, and ... hysterically hyperbolic.
In the hours after The Washington Post's report surfaced, reporters and anchors on the major news networks called the president "evil," a "neo-Nazi," a "terrorist sympathizer," a "danger" to non-white Americans, and so, so much more.
To help keep track of it all, we've assembled the following compendium of the most unhinged media reactions to Trump's comments over the last 18 hours.
1) A writer at The Root, Jason Johnson, said these comments show Trump is a "white supremacist," a "terrorist sympathizer," and a "danger" to non-whites.
"The president is a white supremacist," Johnson said Thursday night on MSNBC. "Our president is a terrorist sympathizer. Our president is a clear and present danger to nonwhite people in America. It’s that simple. There’s no reason to pretend that’s not what’s going on."
2) MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said Friday morning that Trump's use of the word "sh*thole" proves his theory that the commander-in-chief is suffering from early-onset dementia.
"Let me just say, everybody knows that granddad and grandmom and people with early onset of dementia, I know this, say things that they would have never said five or six years ago," Scarborough said. "Just ask members of my family and my mom about how they’ll say stinging things about you or other people. I’m just saying."
3) Stephen Colbert used Trump's comments to say that America is the real "sh*thole" because ... we elected him president.
"Trump reportedly said why are we having all these people from [bleep]hole countries come here," the CBS host said during his monologue. "Sir, they’re not [bleep]hole countries, for one, Donald Trump isn’t their president. Am I right?"
4) MSNBC's Donny Deutsch said Trump's comments prove he's not only "racist" but also "insane," "crazy" and an "evil, evil man."
"I think there’s a word we have to start to use with Donald Trump in addition to all of the crazy talk," Deutsch said. "If you take Charlottesville and his blessing and love of or kinship with understanding there are nice Nazis out there, if we take his implied support of a pedophile, and now if we take this additional, very clear racist thing, he is an evil man. We don’t talk about that a lot. We talk about he’s insane, he’s crazy. That’s evil. This is just an evil, evil man."
5) MSNBC guest and former press secretary for Bernie Sanders, Erika Andiola, said the comment proves Trump's policies are rooted in "white supremacy."
"A lot of this has been rooted in white supremacy since the beginning," she told Joy Ann Reid. "These policies are rooted in racism."
6) Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) said the comment shows that Trump "could lead the Ku Klux Klan in the United States of America." He's "somebody who could be the leader of the neo-nazis."
) On CNN, anchors and reporters used the report as an apparent justification for swearing on the air, repeatedly and enthusiastically. While condemning the president for using vulgarity, these anchors used the offending word over and over and over. So many times, in fact, that we made the following supercut:
8) After former Trump campaign staffer Jason Miller defended Trump's comments, CNN contributor Ana Navarro suffered a complete meltdown, screaming and becoming unusually emotional:
I tell you folks, all this screaming about President Trump is also directed at his supporters, US.
In their eyes, you are EVIL. Not just someone with an opinion that disagrees with them. If they can grab power, they will surely come after US as much as they will the President.
Meanwhile The Witch called half of the US deplorable and rhe synchophant media applauded.
It was a nuanced insult.
Yup. Time to stock up on ammo because these unhinged progs are about to turn violent, and their violence is going to be directed at us, no doubt about it. Prepare to defend yourself and your families from these lunatics.
Getting the Left to say for days how lovely all these countries are, while preventing them from saying they can’t go home because these countries are hellholes. Brilliant!!

Because of the News Misleadia’s overreaction to Trump’s shithole comment, I shall now add the word ‘shithole’ any time I am speaking about a third world country

The minute the communists conspire with the islamists and try to take Trump down, he needs to declare a State of Emergency and start rounding these MF’S up.

They damn well know that not every person protesting the removal of Confederate memorials were Nazis. In fact, mostly they were NOT.
Trump was referring to those who were just protesting the removal of these monuments. And the overlying issue about these monuments is not so cut and dry. It is still controversial because millions of Americans do NOT want the monuments removed. They rightfully see them as part of our culture, and regardless of a persons attitudes about the Civil War, from abolition to slavery to states rights, many just want to still honor those who fought and died in the greatest armed conflict our nation fought.
The whole thing about that event went from being a protest about memorials and statues to a Nuremburg-like Nazi rally was a driveby media lie--in other words, "Fake News".
Try telling that to people today. They will call you evil, too. It's amazing what power the Left has due to the lying media.
In any case, I refuse to accept their premises. When I hear crap like that spewed by Deutsch I correct it immediately. That is, if I can find a forum to do so. CNN and MSNBC rarely allow comments to videos.
Maybe this is an indication that he is winning? The media and liberals will get louder and more irate as he is more successful.
And, oh by the way, the word racist has no meaning any more. The Democrats and Liberals have tossed the accusation around like pennies in their pockets.

Having gone to the President’s rally here in Phoenix, I can tell you their hatred for us is visceral. That is the first time in my life I have ever truly felt waves of hate and vitriol thrown at me. If they could have gotten to us they would have (tried) to murder us. I have no doubt of this.
Interestingly is that the S-word has become a heavily used word in modern society. I have read a Facebook post several times that people who use the S-word are more intelligent than others, read it on a post from a prominent female community leader just last week. Just sitting in a restaurant for breakfast, I hear the S-word at nearby tables all the time.
I don’t know if this was the plan, but I suspect a whole lot of people are now wondering why America takes in so many people from sh*thole countries. There have been many pics circulating to give us a clear image of what a sh*thole country looks like - I’m going to say that is waking some people up.

The evil men are the rulers of the shithole countries who keep all that taxpayer funded U.S. aid that we foolishly send to those shithole countries. Which is why the rulers live in luxury and the rest in squalor. And most shithole countries are also shithole because their religions are voodoo or Islam.
Need to do combat shooting at the range; practice as though a threat can come at you from any direction.
Learn to fire from inside your vehicle while at the wheel; I go to a nearby farm for this.

BTW, I now have my pastor’s permission & encouragement to pack while in church. He’s from Poland and is a red hot Trump supporter since that Warsaw visit.
