WASHINGTON (AP) - A bipartisan agreement among a handful of senators to prevent deportation of hundreds of thousands of young immigrants includes a pathway to citizenship that would take up to 12 years.
The Associated Press on Saturday obtained details of the deal that includes $1.6 billion for structures including a wall for border security.
The agreement between three Republican and three Democratic senators would prevent deportation of hundreds of thousands of so-called Dreamers, who were brought to this country as children and are here illegally.
President Donald Trump and some GOP congressional leaders have said the bipartisan deal is insufficient. Its proponents - led by Sens. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. - say they are continuing to round up supporters in hopes of building momentum for their plan.
Political battle lines intensified following Trump’s vulgar description of African nations and derogatory comments about Haiti at a White House meeting last Thursday, and its fate is uncertain.

Trump requested 18 billion for a border wall, this offer is 1.6 billion for things that may or may not include a wall. Bipartisan indeed.
Not a good deal for immigration reform
The wall MUST be fully funded, as well as doing away with chain migration, lottery visas, and more. Trump has said so and they are NOT going to "turn" him, no matter who leaks what as a "done deal".
The DACA parasites should be sent back to their sh*tholes of origin and apply to come in legally.

There should be no citizenship for any illegal alien, ever, even if we do eventually let some stay.
I want them all removed.
Send them back to their nation of origin.
If they wish to get in line, let them.
Let them go file and wait the requisite time like everyone else does.
Go through the process, and realize for the first time how great it is to be in the U.S., having earned it legally.
What idiots agreed to this deal where they get all the dreamers and Trump gets barely a tenth of what he asked for the wall?!

Traitor senators!!! Why should they EVER get citizenship? AT MOST they should get a work permit with zero chance at citizenship unless they go to their home country and apply.
If they have some nutty compulsion to vote they can vote in their home nation.
There are currently only 5 Senators marginally on the side of the citizens and the rule of law.
Cotton, Grassley, Paul, Perdue and Cruz.
We need to elect a bunch of new Senators who will side with US.
