Residents of Yakutia are no strangers to cold weather...
Their ancestors were routinely dumped from trains
into the snow and forced to build their own camps.
Of course, most of them didn’t make it.
What frustrates me is when there’s postings like this and a location is mentioned. Nobody (and I wish I could but my system doesn’t have the stuff to do it) seems to be interested in showing at least a generalized map of where the hell the place is at in this world.
