Huh? The article says this took place in 2016, when Mueller wasn't even the special counsel yet, but was cashing huge checks for doing nothing. Chances are it's McCabe they're talking about. Hence, the fact that an interview took place means nothing.

Carter wears a frequent and bright eyed grin that reminds me of “the-cat-that-swallowed-the-canary”, a high school junior who just aced a test that no one else could, thrilled with her big “get” reporting. Her reporting has been excellent, for sure. But, WTH is she bubbling over with glee about? I don’t get it.
She is quite a contrast to guest, Dr. Sebastian Gorka, who, as a legal immigrant, is “ashamed and horrified by what we are learning..... ”.
Carter seems only slightly improved over time, but her immaturity has been distracting, given the crisis of corruption we are living through. Not much to grin about on this subject.

Maybe Steele indicated to the FBI that Blumenthal was a source for some of the information contained in the dossier. Steele was well-known and respected by the FBI. Steele helped uncover the crimes committed by the heads of international soccer and provided that information to the FBI. As a member of MI-6, Steele had many contacts with the FBI.
If Blumenthal was interviewed, it hope it was under oath (not that it means anything to Sidney or his crazy son Max), because I wouldn’t trust Sicko Sid to gave his real name to anyone.
Sidney Blumenthal and son Max are just as dangerous and psychopathic as George Soros and his son are.
There was a story that Max Rosenthal was even thrown out by a German communist party because he was so crazy.

Within the first hour after the Comey’s letter became public, the New York Times was on the wire leading with the fact that the FBI found new evidence on one or more devices belatedly obtained from Huma Abedin and her now-estranged husband, Anthony Weiner.
As Secretary of State, Hillary did not have a computer terminal in her office, nor did she know how to operate the secure fax machine the State Department had installed in her home. She used her mobile electronic devices exclusively, and depended on Huma to provide her with hard copies of classified documents.
Therefore, Huma routinely transfered classified documents from the State Department’s classified computer system variously to her own unsecured email account and that of her husband, and thence back to the State Department’s unsecured system so that she could print them out.
It’s all in the 302 of the FBI’s interview with Huma, released as part of that FBI Friday afternoon document dump that happened about a month ago! Even earlier than that, at least one well-informed online source (whom Clinton might wish to lump in with the so-called “Alt-Right”) speculated this would prove to be the case, but the MSM never picked up on the fact (for obvious reasons).
Congressional leaders will surely want to know why the FBI agent(s) who interviewed Huma did not follow up right then and there to seize all of the Abedin/Weiner devices. That they did not, and that this evidence might have remained buried if Huma’s husband had not taken pictures of his boner and sent them to a 15-yr-old girl, is a scandal in and of itself.
Comey is in DEEP SH!T, and he knows it.
Huma’s system, of course, leaked like a sieve. Evidently, some of the classified emails were sent to and from the same device and account Anthony Weiner used to sext back and forth with a 15-yr-old girl. Hence, the “other matter” to which Comey alluded in his letter to Congress today.
I also strongly suspect the FBI will find copies of classified documents that Hillary shared with her Rasputin, Sidney Blumenthal, that neither she nor Blumenthal turned over to the FBI on demand, but in fact believed they had destroyed. The sharing of classified information with anyone who does not have the appropriate security clearance is, of course, a felony.
Clinton sought to have Blumenthal join her at the State Department, but his application for a security clearance was denied because he had lied to a Federal Grand Jury in 1998 regarding President Bill Clinton’s relationship with Monica Lewinsky. The day that story broke, he and Hillary concocted a false narrative that Monica was a stalker whose advances the President had rebuffed. Then, Blumenthal spread the story to his various media friends among the Washington press corps as part of the Clintons’ lie and deny strategy.
So Blumnenthal didn’t get his security clearance or a job in the State Department, but that hardly prevented him from “advising” Hillary Clinton with respect to U.S. foreign policy.
Clinton and Blumenthal kept up a brisk email exchange, and with the reopening of the investigation we may FINALLY find out which and how many classified documents were transmitted and received between the two.

Liz, it’s actually WORSE than what you’re reporting!! The verbatim info was not State Dept info, but from 4 actual NSA reports classified Top Secret (NSA confirmed it was their reports). One was GAMMA or SAP. Also, he sent Hilly the details only hours after NSA released them in Top Secret/Special Intelligence channels.
The question you posed (how did he get it) is one of the burning questions in my mind & to date, I don’t know that anyone has figured it out (likely keeping it quiet if they did). The NSA ‘leaker’ should be swinging from a rope, this is so serious.

Now, over two months later, I can confirm that the contents of Sid Blumenthal’s June 8, 2011, email to Hillary Clinton, sent to her personal, unclassified account, were indeed based on highly sensitive NSA information. The agency investigated this compromise and determined that Mr. Blumenthal’s highly detailed account of Sudanese goings-on, including the retelling of high-level conversations in that country, was indeed derived from NSA intelligence.
Specifically, this information was illegally lifted from four different NSA reports, all of them classified “Top Secret / Special Intelligence.” Worse, at least one of those reports was issued under the GAMMA compartment, which is an NSA handling caveat that is applied to extraordinarily sensitive information (for instance, decrypted conversations between top foreign leadership, as this was). GAMMA is properly viewed as a SIGINT Special Access Program, or SAP, several of which from the CIA Ms. Clinton compromised in another series of her “unclassified” emails.
Currently serving NSA officials have told me they have no doubt that Mr. Blumenthal’s information came from their reports. “It’s word-for-word, verbatim copying,” one of them explained. “In one case, an entire paragraph was lifted from an NSA report” that was classified Top Secret / Special Intelligence.
How Mr. Blumenthal got his hands on this information is the key question, and there’s no firm answer yet. The fact that he was able to take four separate highly classified NSA reports—none of which he was supposed to have any access to—and pass the details of them to Hillary Clinton via email only hours after NSA released them in Top Secret / Special Intelligence channels indicates something highly unusual, as well as illegal, was going on.
