Whatever you think about Donald Trump, his main achievement has been to utterly discombobulate his enemies, especially the mainstream media in America.
If sometimes we think that the BBC dresses a little too far to the Left, try watching the Washington press pack in full flow. They believe it is their constitutional duty to destroy the democratically elected President by any means possible.
He's been accused of racism, sexism and colluding with the Russians to steal the presidential election, which bizarrely they also claim he never wanted to win in the first place. Go figure.
Like our own die-hard Remainers, any lie will do for the Never Trumpers. Their latest line of attack is to claim he is mentally ill, in the early stages of Alzheimer's, and therefore unfit for office.
If anyone is displaying signs of advanced mental illness, it's the mudslingers themselves, in their increasingly deranged desperation to find something, anything, which will bring down the President.
This got me wondering how the Great Man Churchill would have fared had he been subjected to the same kind of scrutiny and hostility that Trump is today.
If Churchill's personal physician had been forced to reveal the Prime Minister's medical results, food, drink and drugs consumption, Winston wouldn't only have been declared unfit for office, he'd probably have been sectioned.

Churchill was hated by the left wing in Britain, but they feared Nazi Germany even more than they hated him. Once WWII was won, they went back to the same idealistic idiocy as before, with barely a “thank you”.
Churchill ate and drank what he wanted. Smoked cigars too.

Well, they didn’t fear Nazi Germany up until the point where it became clear that war was inevitable. Chamberlain’s “Peace for our time” was the order of the day way before “Very well: alone” and “Keep calm and carry on”.
If WWII were to happen today, all of Europe would be speaking German, there would be no Jews and the coasts of the USA would be speaking Japanese and German.
Without firing a shot. Just be against the USA is enough for 1/2 of America to roll over and help.

Up until Germany started its takeover of Europe, their thinking was very much like liberals’ attitude toward Islam today: you can appease the devil by being nice and he’ll be nice to you in return. But they were in for a surprise because their idealism doesn’t work in the real world. Never has, never will. They don’t know that because they’re always trying to change history instead of learn from it.
HiLIARy can endlessly cough, spit out gunk into her glass, have a seizure and collapse and have to be tossed into a van like a sack of potatoes, losing her shoe,... and not one word from the media.
The coastal liberals wouldn’t be speaking anything, because most likely the Germans and Japanese would massacre them. The rest of the USA would keep fighting. Don’t know about Canada, but I don’t see that they are all like Trudeau.
