I guess we would get asteroid struck even if we did track it. Unless we get Bruce Willis and the boys on the case.
These guys sure think we're stupid, don't they.

These people are truly stupid, I’m so sick of these idiots. I never watch their trash but hear about it through posts like these and I find it appalling that they exist.

Here’s a question for the microcephalics over at CNN... What exactly would NASA do to stop an incoming asteroid, even if it did determine that it was going to hit? At best, they could figure out about where it might hit, but not in time for an evacuation.

There is no defense. The asteroid will either hit or miss.
Hitting Los Angeles will solve a lot of problems

Simple solution to all of these "problems".
Turn the parks over to the states.
Privatize the Smithsonian.
No asteroids will hit if the guvment is shutdown?? Hey...then keep it closed. /sarc

Amazing,How much do we pay each year to idiots to watch dots and lines in space go across a screen ,over and over and over again.
They could have one egg head go in 1x per year and log how much it has changed and save us millions in salaries benefits and pensions

What? They going to tell us to wear hardhats that day? What maroons.

The asteroids know that we’re defenseless because they saw it on their Twitter feed. So, now is the time for them to alter course and come at us.

Let’s assume for a minute there is an asteroid aimed directly for Earth and will most definitely impact. What can NASA do about it? What difference will it make if they are all on duty, more are hired, or better yet, they all get permanently fired?
Only the mindless left will buy this line of BS anyway. So sad this country is half full of mental midgets.
To: Thibodeaux
DC wouldn’t be a bad place for it to hit.

A CNN reporter claims that because of the shutdown, NASA won't be able to track an incoming asteroid which will make its closest approach to earth on February 4th.
Simple fix.
Congress should authorize NASA to track the asteroid for just one hour before its closest approach, and the asteroid will just go away and not hit us.
CNN should get that suggestion over to congress immediately, before it's too late.
