California lawmakers are targeting the expected windfall that companies in the state would see under the federal tax overhaul with a bill that would require businesses to turn over half to the state.

A proposed Assembly Constitutional Amendment by Assemblymen Kevin McCarty, D-Sacramento, and Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, would create a tax surcharge on California companies making more than $1 million so that half of their federal tax cut would instead go to programs that benefit low-income and middle-class families.

The businesses should ask for a sign of good faith from the politicians, like giving half of their fund raiser money to the state, and vowing to take no raises until the state is fiscally sound. Hypocritical untalented scum.

Is it even possible to determine the exact impact of the tax cuts? There are so many factors involved with corporate taxes.

Irony is a liberal that hates “corporatism” yet buys Apple products when Apple has $750 billion cash in the bank.

California Democrats can "want" in one hand and shit in the other. Let's see which one fills up the fastest.
