North Korea will 'probably' have missile that can hit Britain in as soon as six months, Defence Minister reveals

The chilling timescale underlines the urgency for persuading Kim Jong-un to abandon his weapons programme, a minister told the Commons Defence Committee

North Korea could be just six months away from developing a nuclear missile capable of hitting Britain, MPs were warned today.

The chilling timescale underlines the urgency for persuading dictator Kim Jong-un to abandon his weapons programme, the Commons Defence Committee heard.

Whitehall chiefs have already drawn up plans to deploy British forces if war breaks out on the peninsula, a Defence Minister suggested.

Lord Howe said to MPs: “It would be very strange if I were tell you there were no deployment plans.

“I can tell you there’s been no lack of discussion in the Ministry of Defence about various scenarios.”

Refusing to “go into terrific detail ... about operational issues”, he confirmed the plans examined the sustainability of a war, and its impact on the UK’s existing military engagements around the globe.

QUESTION:

What is in the back-haul after an Iranian tanker delivers oil to North Korea?

Does that vessel come back empty or does it, possibly, have a high-value cargo?

“Cargo” vessels make no money when they are empty.

I was wondering how we could drag France or India into this and let one of them Nuke NK.

Until today I didnt know New Zealand had assassination squads. Maybe they have a covert nuke team we could use on NK, then blame it on McCabe. He is gonna hang anyways.

They'll wait until their head is in the tiger's mouth.

Was it heading for N. Korea or coming from it? A report I saw seems to indicate that it was heading for N. Korea loaded with oil and natural gas.

If it was going there loaded with oil, Iran was clearly running the blockade.

This is from Mid-East media:

ANALYSIS: Did the US sink an Iranian oil tanker en route to North Korea?

I believe that they are setting up the stage for British involvement in a war if it comes to that. That is a real story.

Is somebody selling NK a guidance system and a re-entry vehicle?

There is NO indication NK has tested either!

Perhaps the Defense minister could also remind the British parliament that this rapid advance in missile technology is due in part to the sharing of technology between Iran and the NORKS. That would be the same Iran they all want to do business with.

Why should the Norks even bother? Britain is doing quite a fine job destroying themselves.

If Britain were smart, they’d slip the coordinates of the muzzie no-go zones to Monkey Boy in Nork.

6 months.

That’s kind of slow for a missile.

They should be able to hit that one fairly easily.
