They had to license the name and likeness of the artist for each channel. They got permission from the Prestley estate for the Elvis channel. When Tom Petty was alive, he actually spoke about this extensively a couple of times on *his* SiriusXM channel.

Hosting a show is rather completely different from having an exclusive channel.

I agree with you that the Pat’s are the logical choice and I love their skill and professionalism. I don’t think God takes sides in sports. I believe God does enable those who trust in him and seek him to be the best they can be.

I used to dislike Brady for being so ‘cocky and arrogant’. After watching him for a number of years now I realize he has a right to be cocky and arrogant. Quite possibly one of the 2 or 3 best to ever play the game. Namath and Unitas are still my favorites!

Yes, perhaps the best and most skilled player to ever play the position, certainly top two or three without a doubt. And yet he still chose to cheat (not just talking about deflate-gate, lookup the Pats use of a second radio frequency to his helmet so they could beat the rules there, plus any role he had in Spygate which covered like 10 years of his career). Some serious character flaw there.

Let me say up front, this does not justify wrong doing, but at that level of competition between billion dollar enterprises... I doubt that other teams are not resorting to similar tactics... just not caught yet. The decisions to do these things may be above the pay grade of even Tom Brady. Just look at what’s going on in the FBI... top level people bend the rules... and the whole organization bends with them...

The Pat’s released Tim (John 3:16) Tebow, the Eagles have a strong Christian fellowship on their team... and I am a pastor... If I were a gambling man... I’d still bet on Brady/Belechik
