usually, when a verdict is overturned for jury stacking or some technicality, its because the shyster lawyers found nothing wrong with the evidence...
I agree that juries should be impartial but do we quiz the men now to see what their attitudes toward rape are?...do they use porn depicting women in degradation?....
the game can be played either way...

And, the hearing officer recommended dismissing the case because it was so weak but he was overruled by an admiral.

She was drunk, could not remember what happened and other witnesses contradicted her story.
At worse reasonable doubt.
The hearing officer said that there was not enough to make a case.
He was overruled.
where did it say the charges were flimsy?...

Read the article. The jury was stacked with female rape victim advocates. the article did say the accuser couldn’t remember facts like where or when it happened.
This is what we normally refer to as a kangaroo court, this will probably go in the dictionary as the definition.
