Oil is abiogenic in origin IMO. I know that makes me sound like a kook but there is no other explanation. How did oil get embedded NORTH of Alaska? Dinos lived in lush tree filled jungles. There were no jungle that far north in Pangaea.

There are different kinds of hydrocarbons. The hydrocarbons on Titan aren’t coal, oil or natural gas.

Didn’t you know? Oil is not made by fossils. It is made by pressurized vegetation matter, the same way it’s made in a laboratory.
Big oil has been hoaxing us for decades. Oil wells eventually refill themselves. The Russians know it’s abiotic oil, too.

Petroleum is certainly renewable in the form of saltwater algae grown on the open ocean. The abiotic theory would be useful if it helped find new legacy oil deposits, but it doesn't. Who really cares where it came from? Petroleum is mainly found below where saltwater algae once lived. Coal is found where trees once lived.
