This is, of course, somewhat common fare by this point in the arc of Trump's presidency. Faced this week with storylines he doesn't like -- questions about the Niger attack, controversy over a phone call he placed to the widow of one of the soldiers lost in that attack, Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Capitol Hill facing questions about Russian meddling in the election -- he aims to change the subject via his Twitter feed. And he often does so by lobbing out a conspiracy theory with only the loosest ties to the factual world.

The existence of the criminal conspiracy is a proven fact.
All Cillizza needs to know is a criminal conspiracy is a crime of intention. Its irrelevant whether it succeeded.
You had a British spy, American law enforcement agencies and the Clinton campaign not only try to subvert an election result but to undermine and remove from office an elected President under false pretenses.
That’s a crime that dwarfs Watergate and CNN and Cilizza are the ones who refuse to face the facts out of a deep-seated hatred for Trump.
And that hatred has discredited rthe Mueller probe they so zealously defend.
He Democrats admits that they and the Fib are co-conspirators. The Democrats aver that the fib KNEW the “dossier” was concocted by the DNC Dirty Tricksters.

Its Cillizza and CNN - not Trump who are frantically trying to change the subject because they don’t like the answers.

The SC’s appointment was a departure from the norm - in which the SC is charged to prosecute someone for an actual crime.
Mueller has an open-ended mandate to look for a crime. That’s not a prosecutor’s job; that’s a fishing expedition.
If I didn’t know better, I’d swear CNN was run by a bunch of habitually pouting 10 year olds.
I was going to point out that there was a fourth co-conspirator, the press, but then I realized he covered that with “Democrats.”
