‘All I know is murder’
American Thinker ^ | 2/4/18 | Colin Flaherty

Everything you need to know about the Super Bowl can be found in the rap hit “Dreams and Nightmares,” by Meek Mill. But which more truthfully could be named after a line in the song: "The Murder Game" or "All I Know Is Murder."

Everything about how far professional football has fallen and how the NFL celebrates the obscene, the vulgar, the dangerous, and the foolish will be on full display as that song blares as the Eagles take the field.

This song that the Eagle players have chosen is about guns, drugs, money, bitches, and murder, over and over and over. Just like the rest of Meek Mill songs, which also include a healthy dollop of the evils of the white man.

We do not know whether the Eagles will be kneeling prior to the big game as they have during the season. Or whether they will be following the dictates of their union which, after accepting $100 million from the owners, decided that white racism and police brutality were not so bad after all.

Meek Mill will not be there. He’s in the joint. The slammer. All for a violating his parole over and over and over. All for committing crimes over and over and over.

The Eagles don’t think that is fair. Don’t you know that crime is the new black entitlement? The mayor and district attorney of the City of Brotherly Love certainly do: That was their platform during their recent elections.

The Eagles and Meek Mill adopted each other, with the Eagles and other Meek Mill partisans selling eager reporters on one fairy tale after another of police misconduct, judicial corruption, and circumstantial evidence.

If I needed another reason to skip the gladiator games today, this would be it.

How Philly rapper Meek Mill's 'Dreams and Nightmares' became the anthem of a Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl run

Rodney McLeod was waiting for a Philadelphia Eagles special teams meeting to start in the NovaCare Complex before the NFC Championship Game when Dave Fipp set the tone for the team's Super Bowl run.

Before the meeting, McLeod said, Fipp -- the special teams coordinator known for home-brewing his own beer and beekeeping -- put Philly rapper Meek Mill's hit track "Dreams and Nightmares" on in the meeting room.

"The whole team and building went crazy," McLeod said this week.

The Eagles had their anthem.

The Eagles decided they were going to play "Dreams and Nightmares" before every kickoff in that game, McLeod said. In pregame warmups, the track played over the public address system at Lincoln Financial Field, and it elicited a strong reaction from players and fans alike.

When the Eagles take the field at U.S. Bank Stadium to face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, Meek Mill will again be their soundtrack. The Eagles said they will come out to "Dreams and Nightmares," the title track from Mill's 2012 album, and represent the incarcerated Philadelphia rapper on one of the world's biggest stages.

Yet another reason for this to me what is on my TV this evening:

Since the owners are paying $100million for them not to kneel, there is no patriotism on display, just greed and hatred for America.
I hope this Super Bowl is the biggest flop in history.

Quite a contrast between the NFL’s bogus demonization of the police supersizing the Ferguson Effect which has resulted in the murder of dozens of police officers and the Super Bowl before the Obamanation and Black Lies Matter changed things.

Check out this video from the SB in Jacksonville which ironically pitted the Boston Patriots against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Now cleanse your brain with the Patriots song ‘Carmina Burana’ by Carl Orff.

IMO the Eagle thugs should lose just for the music selection.

Wow, I hate the Eagles only a few notches above my hate for the Patriots....

I was pulling for Philly based on the fact a lot of their players seem to embrace a Christian world view...

Guess not...

Should we believe everything we read in the media? Even the conservative media?

One conservative media presents dozens of Eagles players as born again Christians. It is in heavy rotation on TBN. This picture of the Eagles is creeping into the mainstream media.

The posted article is the second image of the Eagles, apparently written by a Boston Patriot or maybe a Steelers Eagles hater.

Is it possible the Eagles are a split team? Half of the Devil? Half of their Lord Jesus Christ?

Or is the media seeking to create shock-jock reasons to write an article?

The story is about the putrid song chosen by the team. Obviously at least the majority of the players and the owners went along with it.

That there may be a few players that objected to it only shows that they didn’t really matter, and I bet they stayed fairly quiet.

Agreed. That's why I posted an independent article in the comment. It largely says the same thing.

From the article I excerpted in the OP comment:
The Eagles decided they were going to play "Dreams and Nightmares" before every kickoff in that game, McLeod said. In pregame warmups, the track played over the public address system at Lincoln Financial Field, and it elicited a strong reaction from players and fans alike.

Please note that there was no objection mentioned. BTW, the article I excerpted is from the Harrisburg Patriot-News, not the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, so there isn't likely any Steelers issues going on.

By the way, if you would like to look at the lyrics to this "song", you can find them here.

Please note: if you have underage children or grandchildren, I would probably not let them look over your shoulder when you're looking at those lyrics, as they are fairly explicit.

On the road to victory

Fight, Fight, Fight

Fight Eagles Fight

Score a touchdown 123

123

Hit ‘em low

Hit ‘em high

And watch our Eagles fight

Fly Eagles Fly

On the road to victory

E-A-G-L-E-S!

Eagles!

(that is what the fans sing and I have never heard of the other crud)
