Happy birthday to The Gipper!

He’ll be smiling down on this nation with pride and happiness that we finally have a true patriot in the WH again

Amen.

I was only 8 yrs old when he was elected, but I felt safe for the first time after watching the Soviets invade Afghanistan on the nightly news and Carter’s sissy response.

I feel like I really missed out on something special by being born after this man had been President.

Don't feel too bad. I was in the Navy most of that time and I did not appreciate how good a commander in chief we had. I still had enough good sense to be a Republican though.

He seems so liberal compared to the GREAT President Trump. Reagan let Congress trick him all the time....nothing to be proud of. One time, maybe, but seems that they did that often.

I was 11 years old when President Reagan was sworn in. He shaped who I am as an American up to this day.

February 6th should be a national holiday.

National Defeat of Communism Day or something.

I, a grown man, wept uncontrollably when it was announced President Reagan had passed.

I was working for a BIG liberal at the time, and he couldn't fathom why I wanted to take the day off to watch the funeral and procession.

It was an awesome day, watching the love poured out, all across the nation for our great President Reagan.

*SIGH*

Ronald Reagan was the reason I registered to vote.

When he spoke on TV such as the state of the union he made you proud to be an American.

Are we perfect ? No. But who does everyone call on in its time of need? Who responds !

He was a President who united all people. Not just those that voted for him.
