I think the IG report will ultimately track back to the Obama WH for illegally unmasking Trump supporters in order to spy on the campaign and later the incoming President.

My fear too. How Horowitz could cite the abuses of ATF for a gun-running op known to the Obama WH, and yet not fault the AG Holder,, does not bode well for this long-awaited IG finding. I would be pleased to learn my fears were unfounded

There are way over 100,000 DOJ employees, some stationed in every corner of America. An IG staff of 500 would barely be enough accountants.

Exactly why we have to have a Special Counsel from outside the beltway. The lead investigator, the army of researchers, attorneys, private investigators, LEOs from the states, forensic people - everyone involved - from outside the Beltway. Can Trump do an EO on this?
