Also, Carter Page spent some years more recently as a Director of an international security program for Bard College — which is one of the MOST left-liberal colleges in the country, if that is possible. It does not guarantee he is a leftist Democrat, but it is certainly a red flag — a place like Bard (like Reed, Evergreen, etc.) would never knowingly hire any conservative person for such a position.
It does make one wonder if he approached the Trump campaign under any false pretences.

Also, it seems Carter Page was also an undercover FBI agent/informant from 2012 until March 2016
Then in April 2016, Page suddenly became an FBI “target” for suspected Russian spying and collusion with Trump, and was the figure the FBI/DOJ used for their FISA warrants.
Seems a little fishy....
The level of corruption within the FBI and other agencies that is ebing disclosed, piece by piece, is nothing short of astounding. Its becoming pretty clear to me it is quite likely that Page and Steele were “strategically chosen” to be the vehicles/messengersvia whom warrants were to be obtained via the FISA act.
My take is this: because the material being peddled was so obviously unreliable (read: fraudulent) “vehicles” (aka individuals) who had a previous history of cooperating with/providing “good” info to the FBI had to be chosen in order to give that material a bare indicia of reliability so the FISA warrants would issue.
The individuals:
Exhibit
1: Steele (former MI6) who had been a trusted source on unrelated matters in the past, and
2: Page, who not only was NOT a Russian spy, but had actually helped the FBI to trap a couple of Russian operatives some years earlier.
Of course, neither of these guys was a REAL valuable source, so they were totally expendable to the FBI (is their credibility was expendable if the cover flew off this pile of fertilizer).
Think of them as a couple of half-trained pilots being sent on a kamikazi mission.
This whole affair stinks to high heaven. The FBI needs to have its top echelons cleansed - and probably some of our spying agencies might as well ...
