C’mon! Our guys couldn’t do the Nork robotic goosestep if they tried. And their parades emphasize sheer numbers of massed uniformed drones with an occasional mobile missile launcher thrown in.
Soviet parades emphasized tanks & rocket launchers over troops. They drove them through Red Square then circled the block & drove them by again to give the impression of endless numbers of tanks.
IMO the parade DJT has in mind is (I hate to use the word) inclusive of all services and types of equipment, with maybe battalion size march units representing divisions with a flyover by combat aircraft in formation.
In other words, a typical Veterans’ Day parade as seen in state capitals. Trump wants a Washington D.C. backdrop for his which will make liberals go strawberry fields, just as he intended.

I think those who are seeing it from the viewpoint of dictatorships displaying their military hardware are mistaken about why this is being put forth.
