Strzok May Have Used His Cell Phone In A SCIF, Himself Breaking Classified-Info Rules
The Daily Caller ^ | Feb 8 2018 | Luke Rosiak

Posted on 02/08/2018 5:52:21 PM PST by smileyface

Released texts between Peter Strzok, the FBI agent who ran the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email server, and his lover, FBI attorney Lisa Page, reveal the strong possibility that Strzok used his cell phone in a SCIF — a strict violation of protecting classified information.

Such a breach would compromise Strzok’s ability to probe Clinton for mishandling classified info and show a lack of awareness about security breaches, which is what he was tasked to investigate. The text messages that the Senate released Wednesday show that Strzok texted his mistress on Aug. 11, 2016, “We’re in Jims SCIF.”

SCIF stands for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility, and it is where the most sensitive classified material is kept and story. SCIFs strictly bar all electronic equipment and require all people place their phones in lockers before entering.

The lead up to Strzok’s visit to “Jims SCIF” took place around meetings at the Department of Justice. Strzok said he had meetings at “DoJ at 4 then Baker 430.”

Hours later, Page responds, “Can you and [redacted woman] come up and see me when you are done? Is [redacted woman] with you? Can you please come up here?”

”So, get someone else to investigate Hillary’s security breeches.”

Is “security breeches” a euphemism for “Depends?” If so, I don’t see any takers for the investigatory duty.

”#67. Some unlucky guy is going to “investigate Hillary’s security breeches”. I wouldn’t “investigate” anything she wore, even if my career DEPENDS on it.”

Thought I had scanned the thread before posting the same thing, but I was wrong. You have to be quick on the draw around here. FReepers are a witty bunch.

Stuff like that has been on my mind - those two klutzes don't have the combined brain power to operate a lemonade stand. So who are they taking direction from, who are they answering to - that's what I'm waiting on to come out.

“The only memory allowed in a SCIF is what is between ones ears !!”

Good reason to hire one who has a photographic memory.

Yep. A SCIF or SAPF area should not have allowed a phone to even be brought in past the doors. An accidental entry even for a minute would be a hammer-to-the-phone minimum with someone’s clearance being pulled.

For someone to enter and conceal a phone and then use it, is the height of arrogant breach. Should be in the slammer. What does he think he is, Hillary’s bought-and-paid-for FBI loon?

Imagine if we had an Attorney General, instead of a sniveling, cowering, trembling Coward.

For a 2nd in command of the FBI’s counterintelligence operations, this clown was a major security risk. He was having an affair, texting constantly with his mistress (an FBI lawyer) on an unsecure phone, and he and his mistress were leaking to the press nonstop. On top of that, the guy's self-regard was bottomless. What a moron.

Wondering the same

For years . . . 1970's forward we knew communist Russians had infiltrated our bureaucracy with agents and spys. Yet not once has the subject been raised in the last 10 years and more significantly during this particular escapade.

The odds alone, are that one or more of the ususal suspects are communist agents.

Someone needs to explain how a complete low-life weasel like strozk is doing the interview of Hillary and Flynn. One or the other, but not both. Not a coincidence.

A cell phone wouldn’t be allowed in the SCIF as most of them contain a camera. And broadcasting a phone out of one violates the need to know status of the classified material along with using frequencies that could be tapped.

Both OPSEC and COMSEC would have been violated. And because it was done intentionally, it could mean 20 years. And since the possibility the reciever on the phone call does not have the need to know and, most likely, not the clearance, he is illegally transferring sensitive info and if he/she is caught, it can mean possible espionage for both of them.

At some point around 2010, I noticed that most security folks monitoring SCIFs were buying up detection devices that would be placed at the front door and pick up on cellphone being brought in....giving off an alarm.

If this idiot had the phone in the vault, and it can be proven...you’d have to immediately terminate his security clearance. No exception. If the head of security for his organization won’t act...that guy needs to be fired ASAP.

Shielding wouldn’t keep him from taking photos of documents, though, would it?

Maybe he didn’t need to take photos. Maybe he just took what he wanted by stuffing docs in his socks, ala “Sloppy” Sandy Berger...

One of my guys was in some “suicide prevention training”.

After the training was done, one of the trainers called me and asked if he was ok. He constantly had his down, looking at the table. She thought he was depressed.

I talked to him.

He said he was not depressed, just texting.
