All states should be right-to-work states.

Abood will be overruled and so public employees will be free to tell unions to go straight to Hell when the unions attempt to pick their pockets.

This major revenue stream for the Democratic Party is critical for corruption in America, so the Constitution must be ignored./s?

An owner of an ambulance service (just to use one example) doesn't have a moral right to deny a pervert emergency services and therefore should not have a legal right to do so.

OTOH neither a wedding cake, flowers nor photographs even remotely resemble a "human right" and,therefore...given the basic amorality of their lives...a provider of such services absolutely has a moral right to refuse to serve them and, therefore, should have the legal right to deny them services.

I hope the NeverTrumpers here, you know, the ones that think Trump is an idiot for wanting a military parade, understand that if they had gotten their way, these cases would be A LOST CAUSE.

I do pray someday that the otherwise-conservative NeverTrumpers finally figure out that Trump is the best guy they’ve had in office in a generation, maybe many generations...

This year, the high court is poised to announce its most significant expansion of the 1st Amendment since the Citizens United decision in 2010, which struck down laws that limited campaign spending by corporations, unions and the very wealthy.

Expansion of the 1st Amendment via judicial meddling ought not be tolerated — all it does is erode the Constitution to allow the Judiciary to usurp power.

The Constitution very clearly says who has legislative power (Art 1, Sec 1) All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.; it also says how the Constitution may be amended (Art 5) — You'll note that the Supreme Court is conspicuously absent from both cited portions. (The big lie that they've forced on everybody is that the supreme court is superior in authority to the Constitution.)

They had better.

Unfortunately, I don’t trust Roberts.

If allowing a boy to wear a dress to prom is constitutionally protected free expression than a decorated wedding cake is too.

As a California conservative forced to be in a union, I have been forced for over 30 years to donate to Democratic Party politicians. I don’t want to donate my money to Democratic Party politicians, but since my union dues are extorted from me for that purpose, I have no option. A thoroughly evil and despicable practice.

The California Democratic Party would be starved of money if it was not for this extortion of union dues that gives them a strangle-hold over this state.

It is about time the Supreme Court ended this criminal extortion practice. Not that it does me any good on the cusp of retirement, but at least future generations of California conservatives will not have their money extorted to give to a party they hate.

Paying union dues and baking a wedding cake may not seem like classic examples of free speech . . .

I have always seen giving free individuals a choice on whether to give money to anti-American socialists such as unions, and giving us a choice on whether to participate in speech we find offensive in the form of a custom wedding cake are precisely the sorts of expression that were intended to be protected by the First Amendment.

I think the Left will have to play Roberts again - this case is too big to lose.

My particular complaint is all the unions in live theaters.

Plays are a traditional and hallowed form of speech in the public square, and the unions are like leeches all too often making the costs prohibitive.

Unions are largely organized crime.

Public unions _must_ be completely outlawed. If you work for government, you serve it. Otherwise, get a private job.
