This is the first thing that Trump has really disappointed me on. And THIS is a HUGE disappointment! If he caves on “the DACA ‘kids’” then I am completely DONE with him! Bad enough that 0Bongocare hasn’t been fully repealed!

The increase in gubmint spending (thanks, “0Bongo’s Bitch” McTurtle!) may very well smother any possibility of GDP growth.

The newest MEME is Republicans don’t care about Deficit Spending, making it sound like the Democrats do.

It's not a meme. You may not be that old, but I can clearly remember back during Reagan when Republicans were talking about how they were going to stop deficit spending.

Over the past nearly 40 years, Reagan, both Bushes, and now Trump, all contributed heavily to the deficit while the Republicans in Congress mostly kept their mouths shut.

Republicans in Congress seem to only get angry about deficit spending when a Democrat is in office.

Republicans saying they will address the deficit is like somebody claiming they are going to win the lottery without actually playing the lottery.

Well, you shure got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning! People like you, who opt for no bread at all, as opposed to half a loaf are the reason we're where we are today. Just tell me how we're going to get rid of RINOs, take RAT seats in The Senate, and do constructive things so long as we have a completely disfunctional Congress? At least they've shown the sheeple that they can actually pass a budget, so maybe, even though they really deserve no credit for so doing, the idiot voters will not turn their backs on them in November, and not give us divided government once again. It could be a whole lot worse than it is, sorry to say.

How could it be worse? For almost 40 years, Republicans have been saying they would rein in the debt, that they would stop with deficit spending. For almost 40 years, when a Republican is in the White House, Republicans in Congress will happily spend money we don't have.

We are screwing over our grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Perhaps parts of it are, but it’s way better than no deal at all or another CR, and it gives the President some running room to fix what he really doesn’t like. The other good thing that’s happened as a result of the Tax Reform Bill is that government revenue is up. January it was up $18 billion. Achieving a vibrant economy is going to help the deficit by virtue of the increased incomes and consequent tax collections.

Any increased revenue from an increase in incomes/tax collection will just be spent by Congress.

Congress is like somebody with no financial integrity or knowledge, who keeps getting credit card offers and keeps on filling them out and spending that money, because to them it's "free money".

That bill is going to come due someday, and our grandkids are going to be screwed.

I think you missed my point.

If the Rats were running Congress, they would be spending even more than our RINO Friends.

The RINO’s gave the Rats too much with their usual “go along to get along” Strategy to put the Budget Deal together. Now the Rats can act like Deficit Hawks and the Media will be all too willing to oblige spreading that falsehood. Give me a break.

Reminds me of the 1992 Election where the Rats used POTUS G.W.H. Bush's “no new Taxes” speech against him which got Clinton Elected so he could raise Taxes even more.

It really accomplished a lot getting back at POTUS Bush didn't it? We ended up with the Clinton Crime Family who seem to be above the Law and just like Herpes, will never go away.

And no, I am not a fan of the RINO Bush Dynasty, but I despise the Clinton Crime Family. Taut Ropes and flailing Legs would be too good for them.

The one saving grace is even though the Budget Deal with the Devil was made, POTUS Trump is already telling Congress that he wants Departmental Budget Cuts to cover the RINO GOP Gifts to the Democrats. Those who thought the idiotic Budget Deal was a two year reprieve are beginning to have Brain Aneurysms. I just laugh.

From what I’ve seen Trump likes a deal. Doesn’t seem to matter what the deal is though. He’ll sign it. He has made a few requirements but as long as those are in it he’ll sign anything. Because it’s a deal.

LOL Best/funniest comment of 2018
