I would have chosen to veto, but the situation with his own party and the stupid Russian investigation really has tied him up a lot. We need to ensure Military is well funded, next is immigration (DACA, the Wall, end chain migration, end diversity lottery etc) and that’s going to be a fight. Perfectly fine with shutting down and going to the mat on that now. Next drain the swamp, Continue to expose the politicization of the fed agencies, including Intel and LE, take that down and THEN draw a line in the sand on budget and spending. Oh, in the meantime keep putting conservatives on the fed courts.

From what I’ve seen Trump likes a deal. Doesn’t seem to matter what the deal is though. He’ll sign it. He has made a few requirements but as long as those are in it he’ll sign anything. Because it’s a deal.
