White House Chief of Staff John Kelly is willing to resign and expressed his willingness to President Donald Trump, according to a report from ABC News.
Breitbart News has confirmed the news from sources with direct knowledge of the situation.
White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley denied that Kelly has offered his resignation.

Is there more to the story than we’ve heard, or is he just an honorable man who got snookered, and defended someone who seems to be a cad?
In the latter case, his resignation should be declined.
Please God, no.
In other news, Sessions has refused to resign for the Rosenstein-Mueller scandal.

I know nothing about this story but neither Kelly or Trump have anything to do with what his fellow did in his iprivate life. A life he disputes.

I don’t know about these things. The info I get is pretty late and filtered. What I heard (probably on FOX, however reliable that is) that Porter was being investigated for clearance, nothing had turned up, but the investigation wasn’t complete.
So, one possibility is that the above is true, and the wives came out of the woodwork, but the FBI hadn’t caught it yet. If that’s the case, there’s no need for Kelly to fall on his sword.
Another is that everything was known, they thought it could be suppressed, and he was such a great fit for the job that they had to have him. That seems less likely to me.
But again, I’m well aware that I have no facts. I’m just thinking about possibilities.
Good grief.....more soap opera and gossip from the MSM.
I watched the media try to get her to say he bused her....she wouldn’t say it. It was more like...he’s mean...
PS. A third possibility is that this is all manufactured. If that’s the case, the guy should stick it through and be cleared. Again, I don’t see why Kelly has to go, unless he feels he was tricked by appearances and called a dishonorable man honorable. Very noble and old-fashioned of him, if that’s the case.
Or the FBI deliberately withheld the information.
