Matt Rosendale Leads by Double Digits in Montana Senate Republican Primary (Tester is toast!)

Rancher and state auditor Matt Rosendale leads his Montana Senate Republican primary opponents by double digits, according to a poll released Thursday.

“Montanans elected me to reduce spending, reduce regulations and defend our freedoms–and I did. The voters of our state support me because they know I mean business and have always served the way I said I would,” Rosendale said in a press release.

Rosendale has a two-to-one advantage over fellow GOP competitors; 28 percent of Republican primary voters would vote for him, compared to 12 percent for Troy Downing, while 11 percent would vote for Russell Fagg.

Russell has an unfortunate last name for politics.

The primary numbers look good.

But has anyone seen how he fares in a head to head matchup against Tester?

WV, MO, ND, IN - no reason any of these states should be represented by a Dim senator either.

“Russell has an unfortunate last name for politics.”

Especially in Montana. Remember this? When the democrats ran an ad about the republican candidate once being a hairdresser, to protect Max Baucus’ seat. Oh, the horror. Such homophobes, those democrats!!

WV has a good candidate running in Patrick Morrisey, but he is not Mitch McConnell’s pick so look for the GOP to kneecap him if he wins the nomination.
IN and MO have had Senate candidates kneecapped by the GOP before.
If the Bush League Republican doesn’t win the primary they have Karl Rove go on TV and savage the GOP candidate.

I hope Tester is toast but what does a GOP primary poll have to do with the GE? Very little.

Well, a well-known republican is better than some little-known guy running against a US Senator.

His name is similar to a main character in Stephen King’s novel, “THE STAND” ><Randall Flagg - Described as “an accomplished sorcerer and a devoted servant of the Outer Dark”, he has supernatural abilities involving necromancy, prophecy, and influence over animal and human behavior.

Yes. Just imagine, the Democrats would have to print buttons and run on the campaign slogan, “Beat the Fagg !”

Explains why CNN had Tester on on the morning show this past week (Tues, I believe). If I heard one more “That’s why I’ve been FIGHTING for, blah, blah, blah”. Apparently Tester has been doing a lot of “FIGHTING” for this or that...it must be because he’s going to lose.

But he’d win the Dem nomination hands down.

Jr. High classmates used to make fun of the teachers (in their absence, of course): “Puny Rooney” and “Fag Flagg”.
