In a series of now-deleted tweets, senior Newsweek writer Kurt Eichenwald slammed House Republicans for voting for the ObamaCare replacement bill. The Daily Caller was able to capture the tweets before Eichenwald deleted them and softened his words.

Whether the allegations are true or not....there is a strong suggestion that the ‘owners’ were not journalistic types, and had some motive of building an operation that might have engaged in some variation of money-laundering.
It’s beyond me how you’d do money-laundering with a newspaper or magazine service.
Based on reports from Friday...I would suggest that most of the staff probably are writing resumes this weekend, and pursuing new jobs.

After being sold for $1 to some scammers, now said scammers are going down for their financial and advertising frauds. Top editors at Newsweak were fired. It is circling the drain.
Maybe Kurt Eichenwald can go to work for Larry Flynt next. Sure, “Hustler” may be too conventional for a guy who’s into kids and also “tentacle porn” but Kurt and Larry could have a good “meeting of the minds” as they say.
