Commission That Attacked Christian Baker Faces Defunding

A state commission in Colorado that punished Masterpiece Cakeshop owner Jack Phillips for refusing to use his artistry to promote same-sex marriage could be eliminated.

Future funding for the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, where one member even likened Christians to Nazis, failed in a vote in the state’s Joint Budget Committee.

State Sen. Kevin Lundberg, R-Berthoud, tweeted that the decision came down to a party-line vote that tabled plans to continue sending money to the commission.

“My argument against approving their funding today is we need to wait and see what the legislature does with the renewal of the law authorizing the commission, which is up for sunset review in this session,” he said, according to The Denver Channel.

The commission was a key player in the dispute over states’ authority to force Christian business operators to endorse same-sex “marriage” with their work. The panel accepted a complaint from a homosexual duo who demanded Phillips use his artistry for their wedding event, which took place before same-sex marriage was legal in Colorado.

Phillips declined the couple, and the state commission ordered him and his staff to undergo a reindoctrination program.

It annoys me how everyone keeps blaming all religious freedom violations on the Obergefell decision. This sort of thing was happening before that decision. Just look up Gortz Haus Gallery.

Fire their little butt kissing *sses.
And make the pay all funds that the poor baker had to pay for lawyers.
After that, strip them naked, transport them to the top of a 14er, and tie them there.

These human rights commissions are State star chambers, and they operated under State law-based tyrannies until the federal imprimatur was issued.

At the federal level, Lawrence (2003), Windsor (2013) and Obergefell (2015) were the big ones, but we shouldn’t neglect Romer (1996).

Gortz Haus was 2013, when the darkness had well advanced.

Just disband the “commission.”
End it. No more. Zip. Zero. Nada.

I hope that commission will lose all funding
lose their jobs
lose their marriages
be shunned by family, former friends, and acquaintances
and be prosecuted for a federal felony
18 U.S. Code SS 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law.

Anyone who would participate in that commission is pure evil.

Even before the lawless edict overturning 150 years of prior practice and written law. The lefts injustice system was already looking to persicute Christians.

All the lawless edict did was mandate federal definition of marriage upon the church, states, and the people.
This didn’t prevent states from enacting their own laws to persicute Christians, and nonthing prevents lawless judges and leftist lawers from persicuting anyone they want.

What is a Star Chamber? Who funds these? Of course they are going to look for something to justify their titles. Is it Soros money?? Has Trump changed anything that makes them fade out??

It’s trial with denial of a jury of one’s peers. Totally unconstitutional.

“ordered him and his staff to undergo a reindoctrination program.”

Horrid! If I were ever ordered to take a reindoctrination program it would not be pretty. I’d just dig in x10 and be extremely pissed off to boot.
