GOP Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has devised an immigration debate this week which can help an alliance of Democrats and roughly 15 business-first Republican Senators push an amnesty through the Senate while blocking President Donald Trump’s pro-American reforms.
“I think this is an effort that is set up to fail [Trump and] is not set up to help Americans,” said Rosemary Jenks, government relations director at NumbersUSA. She continued:
This [Senate debate] is a very serious threat — screwing up the immigration debate will cost the Republicans the House and potentially even the Senate [in November], which means President Trump gets impeached.
Sen. McConnell’s debate decision is just one of several occasions where GOP team members have fumbled the political ball on amnesty even when Democrats push it into their hands. The repeated failures by the GOP establishment is reminiscent of the “failure theater” strategy which they used in 2015 to hide their planned loss of a 2015 amnesty showdown with President Barack Obama.

The GOP is the enemy of Trump and ultimately the enemy of all Americans.

I hope Trump uses this issue for his first veto.
Trump pretty much has the Democrats over a barrell, and here comes numb nuts.
Wall Street is the financial arm advocating endless immigration . . both legal and illegal.
Soros is the financial arm advocating endless immigration . . both legal and illegal.
Any talk of amnesty, to me, is loathsome. It hits me in the gut.
DACA, dreamers, are terms developed by Madison Avenue advertising techniques promoted to cloak what has been going on for decades, so why all the frenzy to do something NOW!!!
What has been going on much longer is the mindless non-enforcement of immigration law, the mindless lack of border enforcement, and the stupendous number of legal immigrants allowed in per year.
And all of a sudden, people jump straight up and demand the DACA situation has got to be resolved NOW or the country cannot survive.
Best plan: build the wall and stop ALL immigration NOW, as was done in the Twenties. Legal immigration is certain to destroy the country with its present numbers — over a million per year, even with a thirty foot tall wall on the border.
Trump should hold out for that, and he would see an avalanche of new Republicans willing to implement his agenda in the Congress in November.

What Wall Street wants, Wall Street gets.
That is my suspicion, as well. I wonder if President Trump ever sees articles such as this one and how much the information flow to him is managed to shape his perceptions of what is happening?
