I looked into that the other day and indeed his replacement has been voting in the Senate this CY.
Translation: A Trumpite nationalist candidate would probably get the GOP nomination, and the establishment GOP is worried they might be forced to undercut him and support the Democrat.
Well, if they really, really want to lose his seat then have him run for re-election.
It’s pure baloney that a Dem could win that seat.
Marsha Blackburn will be heavily favored and will win. Bredesen is an old fogey first elected gov. before Tennessee became a GOP solid stalwart state. Tennessee IS NOT going to send a Democrat to the senate.
Dems and GOPe are trying to use the Judge Moore Alabama fiasco to drum up hope for anyone besides a conservative to win in a conservative state.
Sorry leftist pundits. It’s not going to happen. Blackburn is going to vote with the president 95% of the time.
