Yeah, the news reports say the injuries were not firearms related. Possibly from the airbags deploying ?
Bloody noses was the first thing I thought of, but then where did all those bullets through the windshield go...?
Close ? LOL If they didn’t hit them, there probably were too close for comfort. Fwiw, i would suspect some glass fragments would be dispersed inside the vehicle. Would it be plausible they were hit by glass fragremts?
Holes through the windshieldoor looked pretty neat. Bloody noses from the airbags deploying is my bet. Or officials are just being very circumpspect/dainty about ventilating the perp or perps for some reason.

OMG! Brings back a memory from over 20 yrs. ago. A young woman I worked with wanted me to go on a house hunt with her. We were in separate cars and got lost. We pulled over near the NSA entrance and were immediately approached by a security vehicle. The cop was intrigued by one older white and one young black woman looking at a map together. No GPS!!
He gave us directions and told us to SCRAM!
Sounds like some evil guns shot at some evil SUV, no humans were hit by bullets but the SUV was able to injure some of its passengers.
The FBI is about credible as Hillary.
