Criminal justice reformers aim big by targeting local DA races [Soros funded]

DALLAS - If you can’t win big, go small.

That’s the strategy gaining momentum among criminal justice reformers in the age of Trump, as the federal government hardens its approach to law enforcement.

Instead of pouring money and energy into squeezing change out of Washington, national civil rights organizations are teaming with local groups to push their agendas in county-level district attorney races, where a few thousand votes can determine who asserts the most influence over the local justice system.

Picking their targets carefully, and crunching election data to influence pivotal voter blocs - and benefiting from the largesse of liberal billionaire George Soros - these crusaders have already racked up big wins, most recently in Philadelphia, where civil rights lawyer Larry Krasner was elected chief prosecutor last year.

Using Krasner as proof that their strategy can work, the American Civil Liberties Union, Color of Change and like-minded political action committees are now fixating on several 2018 races, with Dallas at the front of a list that could also include Baltimore; Charlotte, North Carolina; Los Angeles; Oakland, California; San Diego and St. Louis, as well as parts of Massachusetts, Oklahoma and Oregon.

He (Soros) was recently successful at this in the election of the Orlando-Osceola County (area of Florida) State Attorney. Appalling story of how a 3rd rate attorney (IMO) named Aramis Ayala used the sob story of her convicted felon husband and her RACE (there, I said it) to appeal to voters. She said she did not solicit the huge dollars she received from Soros-connected organizations, but was grateful for the support.
Early after her election she announced that she WOULD NOT seek the death penalty in any cases.
Governor Rick Scott stepped in and re-assigned cases to other State Attorneys. Ayala filed suit against Scott, and the Florida Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Governor.
I might have a few details slightly wrong, but you get the picture.
Oh, BTW - I think Soros has already tried something similar with Secretary of State office all over the USA. And remember, the S of S is the office which validates/certifies the ballots in the Presidential elections.
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

Soros bought a DA race in Northwest Louisiana two years ago. The guy they put in was a retired circuit court judge. He was on the bench for a case I was covering several years ago - an absolute buffoon.

George Soros puts another $150,000 into Caddo DA race

They are counting on the voters not being informed on these down ticket candidates.

Taking over the DA slots is more reason to get Trumps judicial picks in place since they only have to be voted on once and can reduce some of the damage the Soros clowns do.
