Because she knew it would be part of government archives and subject to future review and FOIA.

In effect, she making a statement “for the record.” the question is: what is the import of her statement. What does it say? What narrative is she pushing?

I think what she was really saying is “we at the top did it by the books,” and they are setting up a fall guy below them to take the hit for their criminal activities they instigated and directed. It seems almost like desperation!

I do not think Comey, Yates, Brennan, and Clapper will step up to take the hit. A villa overseas is much nicer than Leavenworth prison in Kansas.

If one listens to Sara Carter’s information on what is going on behind the scenes it is obvious that honest men and women in the FBI and Justice Department are talking to her. This can no longer be contained. At a certain point the criminals start saying, “We can make a deal, may I please tell you what my boss did?”

We live in interesting times.
