The FBI special agent at the press conference this morning sounded VERY defensive. He talked about the “intensive datamation” that the Bureau used to no avail in tracking down who posted the original comment about wanting to be a professional school shooter.

The handle was the killer’s name. Did they conduct this datamation on an Amiga? Commodore 64?

Notice how the f_b_i agent says. “a year ago” or “last year in 2017” instead of a few months ago.

Cruz posted the school threat in September (before his mom’s death).

FBI responded for the intake to the informant quickly.

FBI follow-up on Cruz “””””””crickets...””””””

FBI response after the school massacre - immediate.

FBI scrambles (2 calls from two locations) to the informant both from the local field office and nationally.

If Cruz was researching bomb making materials on line, did they know it?

Spot on. They have no problem listening in on private conversations and unmasking people who've committed no crime, but they ‘can't find’ someone who makes an online threat using their own name. There is absolutely no excuse for this. None. If I had to guess, they probably ‘assumed’ that the name Nikolas Cruz was a pseudonym, and didn't even look for him by name. He probably left an IP address when he posted to this guy's blog, and likely if they tracked that and looked for the name in the area, they would have found him - with his record of being expelled for making threats etc.

If he had made a threat against a major politician you know they would have found him.

The Bureau SAIC in Miami was at the conference and made the most pathetic statement you could imagine about the Bureau’s supposed inability to trace down the shooter’s postings on the Internet. The statement begins at 5:44.

It's obvious they didn't even bother searching. If they had, with the resource capabilities the FBI has today, they would have discovered whatever social media pages he had, or comments this POS had made. I can search for my own screen name, and get links to comments I made back in 2007. With the spelling of his first name, it wouldn't have been a chore to track him down. They simply didn't try. Did they even bother to meet with the guy who reported the comment to them last September?

“The handle was the killer’s name.”

Well if he had used Michael Flynn, Carter Page or Christopher Steele, they’d have sure as Hell got him then.

The FBI is not only useless where it matters, they’re destructive to the Republic in places they have no business in.

Less Trump Tower wiretaps and more police work.

They were relying on a Tandy but found out cassettes are obsolete now, so just ignored it.
