Big time fail all the way around. Florida even has a “protocol” for LE and Mental health practitioners to have folks with apparent mental issues involuntarily examined, see “Baker Act”. Shooter may have even had a voluntary exam if approached appropriately. Never know now.
This week-ends new movie, Black Panther, will exacerbate the violence that Americans are subject to each hour of the day be it HBO, TV, MOVIES, and ADS..."social media" is teaming with wanna be's....they are sick people and the mass media feeds them all the garbage they can eat....smart phones are not smart, they are crippling...

Your points about our current condition are well made and I agree. I do not want to live in a police state.
At the same time, the warning signs around this young man were flashing brightly, from multiple sources. This investigation could have been run by a couple of normal citizens with better results.
It’s a crime to lie to the FBI. I have no idea in what law that’s rooted in, but that is ridiculous.
It’s called a ‘process crime’. Here’s one: Lawyer. You shut up and tell them nothing. Even if subpoenaed, there’s the 5th amendment right to self-incrimination. If lying to the FBI is a lie, then saying anything at all to them is potentially incriminating.

You’re right about that madam. But since Ben is a clever lil bondsmen, something tells me he had his back covered.
He knew who he was dealing with and was not naive when the news broke.
Eff-Bee-Aye was likely met at the door by his posse of PitBulls and all correspondence was already in a CLOUD to FOXnews.
(I noticed that they immediately asked Ben where he was... better to meet them on your home turf than in transit to the local field office.)
They have too many resources allocated to cover up Hillary’s crimes and trying to frame Trump and Trump associates.
