Collectively, they have more leverage over the gun industry than any lawmaker. PayPal, Square, Stripe and Apple Pay announced years ago that they would not allow their services to be used for the sale of firearms.

Go right ahead idiots. These actions will drive the adoption of bitcoin, which you idiots are powerless to censor.

If my credit card company were to do that, I would drop them in a heartbeat and they would lose out on the sop they get for close to $30K a year...

The Constitution places limits on what the government is allowed to do. This displeases the left, which then does all it can to get around it, including forcing businesses to carry out their agenda.

I know of 3 auction companies that were using First Data as their credit card processor and had their firearms auctions stopped mid stream when they got notice First Data would not allow the charges to go thru.

It has also happened with Square. However if the payment is just showing for INVOICE and not FIREARM, it does seem to go thru with Square.

They want to revive Obama’s “Operation Choke Point”.

Yep. Been there, done that, as any clever columnist for the NYT would have found out through basic research. This one isn't, apparently. Operation Choke Point. It was criticized by Congressional oversight from both parties but was still active until last August, when Trump cancelled it.

Do the Drug cabals use checks and credit cards? Do the ATM’s know if the money is for guns? Would the seller of a gun not accept cash? WTF is he thinking?

He is a little dork who lives in NYC and does not use cash, only plastic. He is not capable of understanding how people outside of NYC live and operate.

He is a little dork who lives in NYC ............................... I’m 6’ does that make me a big dork from NYC? I grew up with those clowns. There were many, and I’m sure they are still more there now. The worst part if you get too close to them, it could rub off on you. I left them years ago, but now they coming here in FLA!

I did not mean to slur anyone who lives in NYC. I actually love the city, to visit.

Dorkin is on TV every morning and is always a supporter of liberals and liberal causes. Without even thinking, he supports the liberal orthodoxy. The whole network, CNBC, has from day one been a nerve Trump network.

This would be an attack on the constitution and I would see it as an act of war by enemies foreign and domestic.
