Evangelicals across the country are mourning the death of Billy Graham, an influential preacher who died in his home in Montreat, North Carolina, on Wednesday. But while some are celebrating his legacy, others are grappling with the lasting damage his actions have done to their communities.
Over the course of Graham's 99 years of life, he reached millions of Christians around the world and had an outsized impact on the national political landscape. For many lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people, however, Graham was a crusader against them, one whose efforts shaped the religious right into an anti-LGBTQ political force.

I just happened to watch this short interview with Frankin Graham where Pierce Morgan trys to get him to hate on gays with respect to gay marriage.
“So you don’t want gays to get married?”
“They can do whatever they want - it’s a free country. I’m not homophobic - I don’t hate gays. But I will not idly stand by when my country tries to redefine marriage into anything other than what God calls it to be - which is between a man and a woman.”
I’m guessing that the Graham’s probably prayed for the couple whenever they heard of a gay “marriage”.
He was a lot more helpful to those confused people than these stupid, politically correct LGBT-ers. He helped bring many of them back to God and reality.

Your choice of words is from the homosexual lexicon: “gay” and “homophobic”. If you let them pick your vocabulary they are controlling the conversation to a degree.

I have no respect for sodomites with or without Billy Graham.
I respect Billy Graham because he was the embodiment of a true Christian man. He was never caught stealing, cavorting with hookers or tranny’s. drugs or alcohol.
A man with a special purity that is rare in any time, not just our own.
