The Washington Times annual straw poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) has again found overwhelming support for President Donald Trump and his administration’s policies.

The poll found that 93 percent of respondents approve of the job Trump is doing, a seven percent rise from the figure of 86 percent last year. Seventy-five percent of attendees now believe America is going in the right direction, compared to just 44 percent of respondents last year.

“The conservative movement has found a new leader,” said Jim McLaughlin, who organized the poll.

Hopefully that translates to strong voter turnout in November.

He should have also asked who each of the respondents voted for in the GOP primaries in 2016.

I’d like to know who the 7% are.

Every Republican and/or conservative vote will count this year. The President’s future hangs in the balance. The first thing Nancy Pelosi would do as Speaker is move for impeachment, and every Democrat Senator, including such fake “moderates” as Joe Manchin would vote to confirm the impeachment.

What a disaster that would be for the country.

We need to keep saying that from now until November - that if GOP loses the majority, that the first thing the Dems will do is impeach Trump. They will never get a conviction and removal in the senate but then they will put Trump in the same category as Bill Clinton - an impeached president. Even worse, the Dems in control means that the Trump agenda comes to a dead halt.

We can't let that happen.

Most Trump supporters don't care about Republican congressmen and senators. Can't say I blame them because most of them were glad to throw Trump under the bus in 2016. So we need to scare them to the polls in November so that the GOP majority is maintained.

I’m jaded and he’s the best President that’s come down the pipeline in my lifetime. The Gop and the dems are worthless, and it’s hard for Trump to get much done but his heart is in the right place. Just have to burn that swamp.

At this point, its a waste of time to find out about the idiot 7%. It’s a small percentage to even make a dent in my life.

Who the heck were the seven percent who didn’t support him? Did they poll the media who were covering the convention?

Well, that'll piss of National Review! The 7 percent that doesn't support President Trump, either write for, work at or knows someone who writes for or works at National Review! The consummate Never-Trump rag!

The Hate Trump bandwagon is not working at CPAC. The people addicted to Hate Trump Propaganda have made the lazy Mainstream media Zombees go nuts.

If not, Repubs deserve what they get - they tend to be cheap and lazy when it comes to actually doing anything to stop the Dems.
