Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel defiantly refused to consider resigning his position after investigation revealed his investigators had multiple chances to stop a school shooter before the incident.
Israel said on CNN’s “State of the Union” he “of course” would not resign despite devastating news about his department’s role in the shooting came out last week.

I saw reports that not just one but four of his officers did not go into the building even though they were at the school and heard the shooting.
Is that true?
Has Israel ever had plastic surgery on his face? Looks like he’s been hacked around the eyes at some point.
Btw, few in government ever take responsibility for anything. There is no honor among thieves and posers.
Apparently the state governor in Florida can. So, Governor Scott, you going to remove the disgraced sheriff?

Apparently, that is true. Officers from another county have said that’s what they saw.

The sheriff, odious individual that he is, is obviously being groomed for a high end position in the democrat party.
He has the deflection of blame and distorting of facts down pat.
In Florida, the governor can fire him.
Coral Springs borders Parkland. CS PD “Blew By” BSO officers and went in.
It all came to light when the CS Chief asked why ?
Years ago all the munis had their own PD’s and I forget the reasoning BSO took over many.
Parkland was the boonies when I worked for Bell in 2002 and has grown considerably but I think always under BSO

Of course he won’t resign...doing the right thing is not in his reality as evidenced by his inaction multiple times which ultimately led to the Parkland shooting. The demonrats never have any fault or responsibility. Total incompetence in action...or that should be inaction....
Yep - he claims his ignorance of what was going on means none of it was his responsibility - even though he and his staff have been colluding with the school and the criminals on the campus for years to set up this latest. Funny how his guys were on station early and did nothing and the Coral Springs crew showed up and barged right in....
He is pulling a Hil Liar Y. Nothing is his fault, nothing at all. The right wing majority is after him and they have so much power that they made it get daylight this morning.
There are a few ways that Sheriffs get kicked out. I think the Federal Government and the US Marshals can come in, I think the county commissioners can do something or they just get voted out.
All of those people are likely Libs who are totally on board with these actions though.
