Abuja (AFP) - The Nigerian government on Sunday confirmed that 110 girls were missing after a Boko Haram school attack in the northeast, following days of silence on the children's fate.
"The Federal Government has confirmed that 110 students of the Government Science and Technical College in Dapchi, Yobe State, are so far unaccounted for, after insurgents believed to be from a faction of Boko Haram invaded their school on Monday", the information ministry said in a statement.

When a country degenerates into predatory factions, it’s very hard to clean it up and find stability again.
Those trying to fracture our society should learn that lesson.
Didn’t Nigeria just go through this sort of mass kidnapping about three years ago? Still not enough trained/ armed militia to stop another incident? Makes me wonder if some officers or heads of state are complicit, and paid to look the other way.

Genetically we are not significantly different than our ancestors who fed people to lions, raped and pillaged villages, and practiced genocide. They only thing that separates us from them is what we’ve learned and how much we’ve progressed spiritually. Apparently, for too many in the world, there is a long, long way to go in both categories.
Nigeria is fairly large, and its government and resources are small.
If the civilized world really cared about this, any Western military could utterly wipe out Boko Haram in a few weeks.
Nature, Mr. Alnut, is what we’re put in this world to rise above.

The root cause as always is Islam. You get rid of Islam in Africa, and the continent would be somewhat respectable.
