“Toxic masculinity” is to blame for America’s mass-shootings, according to an op-ed published by The Daily Targum, a campus newspaper conservative students are working to defund.
Contributor Francesca Petrucci asked in a February 19 editorial that if “we can equate femininity to passivity with little statistical evidence, why is it that we cannot equate masculinity to gun violence with large statistical evidence?”

“If mental illnesses like schizophrenia and personality disorder are influencers, we also must remember that only some express illness violently,” she continued. “Is it time to categorize toxic masculinity as a mental illness?”
I guess she did learn about the Communists sending dissidents to psychiatric hospitals for going against the "scientific proven" Marxist ideology. Or how many mental illnesses were classified as only effecting women, for example, hysteria.
Petrucci told Campus Reform that she finds masculinity to be “a social construction created through media, culture, and business, which teaches men how to behave and what to value.”
Why are there universal traits defined as masculine across time and space, for example, courage under danger or discipline.
I would say toxic FEMINISM has caused plenty of problems.
if firemen do nothing, then entire cities can burn. When the FBI and police do nothing, kids can get shot up. Plenty of nutty womyn out there to go around. This lady just doesn’t get out much.

Based on what we are hearing out of the Broward County Sheriff’s Dept., the problem was more a lack of masculinity and not a problem with toxic masculinity
