Trump filed the papers for a run for 2020 President the day of his Inauguration.
The media ignored it. Papers were filed Jan 20, 2017.

Well Trump better realize he wont make it to 2020 if the Democrats take back congress in 2018. They along with some GOPe help will impeach and convict him no matter how phony the charge.

Don’t worry about it - he says maybe make bump stocks illegal (which is impossible, since you can make one with a block of wood and some duct tape) - then the next day he suggests arming teachers.
Pearl clutchers who are always thinking Trump is on the verge of selling out just don’t understand how he operates. He says things - and then he says the opposite - to confuse the left and send them chasing after squirrels.
But when has he really sold out on anything?
He could be half as good as he’s been in the first year and he’d still have my vote in 2020.

2020 is a lock for Trump. All Trump has to do is keep being Trump - and there is no reason to think he won’t - and he’ll win by a landslide. The Dems are Done and they don’t even know it yet.
The interesting thing is the timing of the announcement. In my opinion, he is announcing this now, to push the Democrats into framing the mid term elections as a referendum on Trump. If the Democrats do that, they will lose, because that is one thing that is sure to increase Republican enthusiasm, up to the levels the Democrats have.
Of course he is, the paperwork and copyrights on his slogan were filed long ago... anyone who was telling you he was not in this seriously from the start was and still is a fool

Trump has gotten more done initially. Reagan was more Presidential in some ways, at least in his first term. IMO, he was better. Trump has been a pleasant surprise.
