President Trump endorsed a slate of Republicans running for reelection in Texas, including Gov. Greg Abbott and Sen. Ted Cruz, and encouraged Texas voters to support those who are “helping me to Make America Great again.”

“I want to encourage all of my many Texas friends to vote in the primary for Governor Greg Abbott, Senator Ted Cruz, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, and Attorney General Ken Paxton. They are helping me to Make America Great Again! Vote early or on March 6th,” Trump tweeted.

Wonderful endorsement. Trump is loved in Texas and this will spur turnout although these are not really contested races.

Have there been any polls out on that race? I saw
one earlier but haven’t seen any later ones.

Governor Abbott is quoted in The Hill that Democrat early voting is extremely high. Dems must be geared up or cheating. Either way, we need a heavy Republican turnout to stop the trend. I am also concerned with liberals voting for liberals in the primary.

Because a majority is required for nomination, anti-GPB voters can split among the three opponents, and it won’t help Bush. Patterson is believed to be the strongest of those opponents.

CNN is now saying that Cruz could be in danger in the Nov. 6 general election against a Democrat who reminds Texans of John F. Kennedy.

A poll about a month ago showed GPB winning with 57 percent.

Out and about this morning, it was heard on radio he had endorsed George P. Bush. NOT IMPRESSED if true.

Mr. President, this man would love to turn our ALAMO into a theme park. If you desire to save Christianity, rethink on this decision. Continuing to pray for you each day.

Paterson for me, too.

No more family empires. No more Bushes.

Getting inundated with Pee ads in which he tries to attach himself to Trump like a limpet.

Trump endorsements noted.

Any TX freepers have anyone to endorse for Land Commissioner? I know I want Bush to lose, but whom should I vote FOR?

That was the University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll from a
few days ago. Had Bush at 57 and Patterson at 31 and the
two others at 6 each.

CNN is wrong. Patterson will win the primary, he held the office many years before. He stepped out last time because he ran for another office.

CNN is blowing smoke with Beto beating Cruz. Beto will win in
the democrat counties but lose statewide.

Trump Jr. did endorse George P

“Elections are about choices,” Trump Jr. tweeted. “In 2016,
@GeorgePBush endorsed @realDonaldTrump and campaigned for
him. His opponent attacked Trump and urged him quit the
race. Texas conservatives have a clear choice: Bush for
Texas Land Commissioner.”
