President Trump put Attorney General Jeff Sessions back in his political crosshairs on Wednesday, blasting him for tapping an “Obama guy” to investigate allegations of government surveillance abuse.
The president was reacting to Sessions revealing a day earlier that the Justice Department’s inspector general will investigate the allegations, in light of memos released on Capitol Hill about FBI and DOJ efforts to obtain FISA warrants to spy on a former Trump campaign adviser.
“Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate potentially massive FISA abuse. Will take forever, has no prosecutorial power and already late with reports on Comey etc. Isn’t the I.G. an Obama guy? Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL!” Trump wrote.

This is the last warning Sessions is going to get.
When I saw him on TV last night, you would think he forgot to tip his waiter. Zero intensity and focus.
There is something very wrong here. And I am a Trump supporter. If Trump has a problem with Sessions, fire him or ask him to resign. But publicly berating him is completely wrong. While Sessions is in the job, he’s on Trump’s team. Trump should show respect for those working for him. This is not doing that.
Zero intensity = Sessions
Trump’s hands are tied on staffing until after the mid-terms. He needs GOP gains to offset traitors like Collins, McCain, Murkowski. If it stays the same or the Dems gain in the Senate, his agenda is effectively paralyzed until January 2021.
Respect is earned.
So is disrespect.
Sessions is being shown all the respect he has earned.
It makes me wonder if something else is going on behind the scenes.
I disagree intensely. If the mid-terms produce a Democrat congress, this entire mess will be swept away and Trump will be impeached. The time to act is NOW.
If he speaks publicly, he cannot be accused of making threats that aren’t also known in public as not being formal threats. Doing this in public is the safe way to do it, without investigations following his dismissal. Also, the Public gets on Trump’s side to hold Senators accountable to replace Sessions with someone competent.

Nothing is going on behind the scenes. Sessions is a lamb when we need lions.
Well then do something about it and stop screwing around with tweets. This is ridiculous, Sessions recuses using a flimsy excuse yet we have an Obongo guy handling investigating FISAgate. We keep hearing Trump is handcuffed because the Senate won’t confirm an AG. Can’t he fire Sessions and appoint an interim? Surly he can appoint a special prosecutor he’s the POTUS right?
Trump is compromised. It’s over. They got to him, either with something credible and legal, or something shady and below board. Most likely the later, or it would just go through Mueller and he’d be out.
This is all for show now. Play along. Make a tweet complaining about Sessions, but we are running the show now.

No. If you have employee working for you, you discuss issues in private, not public. Trump is better than this. Either respect your employees or fire and replace them. The current Twitter comments are disgusting and demeaning of Trump. It shows or leads one to think Trump is not in charge, cannot control his own employees. And when Sessions eventually quits, sympathy will be with him, not Trump. (And note that I have called for Sessions firing from almost day one.)

I can't understand why Sessions hasn't resigned by now. Getting ripped a new one on Twitter day after day? The man has no self pride.
Note to the President. Sessions obviously isn't going to resign. If you want him gone then you're going to have to fire him.
