Dick's CEO Edward Stack says the decision was a direct result of the high school shooting in Florida and the rallying cry from the kids at the school after witnessing the tragedy.
"We don’t want to be a part of this any longer," says Stack.

Anything used to attack someone is an “assault” weapon...

I have never been in one of their stores, nearest one is 40 miles away, but I will now make a conscious effort to never go into their stores in the future.
As well as Delta, United and all the other liberal puppets that have broken off their business with the NRA, when the NRA has had nothing to do with any of this.
The NRA will survive, but will these companies?...................
Dick’s is not exactly a go-to destination for anything anyway.
So get rid of the knives, shovels, traps, snares, anything that could maim, hurt or kill...just close your "Sporting Goods Store" down Mr. Stack....the NRA had nothing to do with the killing at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School or any of the other prior school shooting.
Shame on Mr. Stack, Delta and others for impugning the NRA....Cowards all for letting the social media bring you to your knees fearing the loss of a little revenue when you should stand along side the NRA, a patriotic organization that does more for safety and weapon education than anyone.
Ford, Jeep, Chrysler, BMW, Chevrolet, etc....these and other cars kill or is it their drivers.........
Boycotting DICKS is not enough.
I will no longer purchase any manufacturers product that is distributed through DICKS.
Under-Armor, North Face, YETI, all have products designed specifically for the shooting community. They can stand with us or continue to distribute their products through traitors. I’m not buying anything from them until they pull their DICKS.
I am so stealing that!
