They opened a new location near me here in Houston just a few months ago that sells what I guess constitute “assault-style” rifles.
Is their plan to stop selling them, then quietly reintroduce them so they can stop selling them again and virtue-signal anew?

Never been in one of their stores and for sure have no reason to go in one now.
It’s illegal for Dicks to restrict gun sales to 21 years old and above. 18 years is the legal age and denying them is hateful discrimination and a violation of civil rights.

Dicks is lashing it’s own back. Hope those anti-gun shirt sales back stop the guns and ammo revenues. I’m thinking Dicks stock not a good long term buy.

As a go-forward, advertising campaign, I suggest that Dick’s Sporting Goods appeal to gun-grabbing Liberals for their business.
Dick’s firearms department wasnt worth a crap anyway. So I doubt getting rid of AR-15’s will have much effect on their bottom line, or would eliminating their whole firearms department. Here in OKC there are many better choices like Cabelas within a mile of Dick’s and many great local owned gun stores.

Rush brought to light the fact that Cruz bought his AR 15 at Dicka and Dicks performed all background checks required. Cruz passed the back ground checks because all of Broward county law enforcement was prohibited from arresting him and thus creating a negative background.
The Dicks CEO is a coward for not loudly proclaiming that fact
