Folks, the very FACT that this kind of disdain for a man of God is being published by a major media organ shows that instead of rage, we should pray--pray for forgiveness of our own sins, pray for repentance in our hearts and for revival in our churches, states and nation.
How can we as a nation stand while we continue to sin against our unborn, our Creator and His servants?
I know the thinking represented in this newspaper might be an outlier--but again, maybe not.
Bottom line is we need a spiritual awakening in this world. And America in particular. We have turned to paganism and are under judgement. Let us turn from our wicked ways.

Billy Graham was one of a kind. It’s not as if we are going to see religious leaders regularly having their caskets in the Capitol.

So what are you saying? You think that this action with Billy Graham will open the floodgates of famous theologians being so honored when they pass away? Are you saying this sets a dangerous precedent? Exactly what are you trying to say?
On the one hand, yes, Billy Graham was influential and a fine man of God. However, I wonder how we will feel when an Imam is honored in the same way? This opens that door.
We are a secular Republic. Put him in a church. There are plenty of churches in D.C. if you want to make some kind of national statement.

I don’t know if Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was ever honored in the rotunda, but if he had died as an old man, he most certainly would have been. He was an ordained minister, just like Billy Graham.
Maybe you aren’t aware that the Rev. Billy Graham was friends of many presidents. Therefore, he deserves a showing in the Capitol. No other religion has been as influential in politics as Graham - Not necessarily in politics, but meeting with many presidents. I’m quite sure this honor won’t be repeated.
Also, I think this is a piece of cheap cynical theater by Paul Ryan.
