Scion to a cheeseburger empire, former prosecutor, Tom Sianis... won Democratic Party backing despite having few years of experience... (he also handles legal affairs for Billy Goat Tavern). Divorce attorney Corri Fetman, 54, and public defender Tim Leeming... remain in a race that would have been perfect material for the late Mike Royko, a nationally syndicated columnist.
Fetman made headlines a decade ago after commissioning a billboard featuring a scantily clad woman — Fetman herself — “Life’s Short. Get A Divorce” before an alderman ordered it taken down. It drew torrents of publicity for Fetman and an offer to pose for Playboy.
Fetman wrote a column for the Playboy, but later filed a $4.5 million sexual harassment lawsuit against her boss who allegedly groped her, bombarded her with explicit emails and calls and took away her column when she rebuffed his advances. The executive left and the lawsuit was later settled. Fetman said the terms are confidential.
Fetman was sickened when she saw an attack ad dubbing her a “poser” over images of herself in a bikini at a bodybuilding competition and in front of her controversial billboard. The video appeared on the Facebook page of a group linked to a Sianis campaign consultant.
“It’s body shaming,” Fetman said.
“Posers, posers — we have enough of them in Chicago,” a voice says in the video. “Do we really need another one who’s just posing to try to be a judge? Vote no on Corri Fetman’s idea of being a judge. We need judges who are real, not posing.”
“It’s not a joke. Getting a divorce because life is short and here’s a woman in her underwear? It’s a serious business and it’s a tragedy.”
Fetman declined to respond to the criticism but said the billboard was about helping her clients.

That was then, the this is now photo at the link is not as flattering. The woman has had more plastic surgery procedures than can be counted and her current face looks like Nancy Pelosi.

The burgers at Billy Goat suck and the woman is a cheap whore. So either one is a perfect Dem Judge in Chicago.

Perhaps others aren’t allowed, but if she wants to get a leg up on herself, I guess that isn’t pandering to objectifiers!
How could somebody who put up that billboard be expected to act impartially as a judge in divorce cases?

If I were still voting in that jurisdiction, I would have to go with the cheezeborger guy.
I suppose that the centerfold would object, but the local bar association rated both of the male candidates as qualified while she was not recommended. Of course, her refusal to be evaluated may have been a factor.
There is a limit to how much plastic surgery someone can undergo without looking totally artificial. The woman is not aging gracefully.

I remember her from a few years back. She just gives me the impression of being a particularly sleazy lawyer.
Why do women do that to their eyebrows?
