Dead bank robber is another victim with ‘unmet needs’

Money is protected by force of arms; children are not

The aborted bank robbery on Madison’s far east side is what separates our liberal-progressive-socialists acquaintances from the rest of us. Hall

Alder Amanda Hall reflects

Thursday’s was the fourth robbery in 14 months at the Chase branch bank on Milwaukee Street, located in a residential neighborhood. Following the one in early December. All of them armed or thought to be armed.

An armed bank security guard shot the suspected robber dead with a single bullet. Would that his security guard been on duty at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School! We’ve said this before: we protect our money with force of arms but not our school children.

Bank robber didn’t have community support!

Alder Amanda Hall represents the neighborhood surrounding the Chase branch bank. If you did not know Ald. Hall was a Madison liberal-progressive-socialist, the lady gives it away with her response to the crime, as reported by the WI State Journal:

Hall said the city and the community should reflect on the crime and assess what action can be taken and services provided that could prevent people from turning to crime or violence. “What this looks like to me is we have a young man, who didn’t have the community support and the community opportunity to make a different choice with what he was going to do with his Thursday,” Hall said. “And now he’s dead.”

Notice the lack of human agency? The resort to victimology? The disinterest in the threat the armed robber posed to innocent civilians? The appeal to More Free Stuff? Yes, now the poor bastard is dead. His death is on your conscience, you heartless conservatives.

“Alder Amanda Hall” is ignorant, stupid, evil and/or mentally ill.

Maybe he had plenty of support: the wrong kind.

He had the full support of liberal policies and social ideals, Amanda. No accountability!

If the guard had fire six times and hit once, that would be "dead with a single bullet"

Possible writer meant single shot?

There is an occasional glint of truth among the hyperbole.

The folks who go around calling themselves Liberals are among the worst AWOLs according to their own lights. For it’s never your needy neighbor they help; it’s that abstract entity that “Easy To Be Hard” of the 50 year old naked hippie musical “Hair” referred to as the “bleeding crowd.” Which means throwing resources at feckless agencies. And then, Liberal conscience assuaged, they blame Conservatives.

If Liberals would only be liberal again, we might see an answer. Government sinecures aren’t it.

we have a young man, who didn’t have the community support and the community opportunity to make a different choice with what he was going to do with his Thursday,” Hall said. “And now he’s dead."

Pure blather. There is so much wrong with this, it's hard to know where to begin. Or to end.

The first thing that hits you is that crap about Thursday... What... did he have a "community opportunity" to make a different choice about what to do with his preceding Tuesday, and that's why the thug wasn't killed robbing a bank that day? And what exactly the hell did the community set him up to do that day, help little old ladies cross on green lights?

Opportunity implies choice. And I guess we're to believe the worthless POS would've voluntarily chosen that activity to living the thug life.

How did the thinking process of Americans ever get so screwed up it would fall for pure unreasoning crap like that?

Not something I care to be right about. Let’s face it - these people are monsters. They hate you and would be happy to see you dead or enslaved.

Yup. He wasn’t looking for free stuff - public assistance he could have availed himself of any time.

He was greedy and wound up dead. And its our fault he chose to rob a bank?

Yeah, right. Butch Cassidy he wasn’t. There were outlaws with hearts of gold. He ain’t one of them.
