#2 is greatest fallacy, IMO. It’s the ‘poo poo’ of the Right when others tell ‘em re: any slippery slope. The ‘That’ll NEVER happen *here*...’ in the face of countless examples: Leftist take-over of education, Gaystapo, feminism, etc.
