Dear Annoying Parkland Kids: We Gave You A Pretty Awesome World, Try Not To Mess It Up
The Federalist ^ | 6 Mar 2018 | Robert Tracinski

Posted on 03/07/2018 11:01:44 AM PST by Rummyfan

All the reasons for refusing to allow ourselves to be led by children were summed up in the latest coronation of the Parkland kids, this time by ancient leftist Bill Maher. He invited David Hogg and Cameron Kasky on his show so Hogg could boast about hanging up on the President of the United States, and so Kasky could give us this sanctimonious little lecture: “I mean this sincerely, I really do, to all the generations before us, we sincerely accept your apology. We appreciate that you are willing to let us rebuild the world that you f—ed up.”

This sums up everything that’s wrong with these kids’ astroturfed ride to fame. They get flown around the country, they get invited on TV, they get puffball interviewers like Bill Maher, all because they are willing to repeat in a cloyingly self-righteous manner the message favored by their adult handlers. But not because they actually know what they’re talking about.

Let’s look at their arrogant presumption that previous generations messed up the world, so that today’s kids, in their superior wisdom, have to “rebuild” it.

These little snots.... They've grown up in the richest country in the world, and quite frankly, there has never been a better time to be alive with respect to technology, medicine, knowledge at your fingertips, and freedom. They have created nothing, produced nothing, added nothing. Yet they state that their elders have f***ed it up.

Have them watch the first hour of “Coal Miner’s Daughter” to show what a hard life is really like.

They are fixated on making America a communist nation without freedom and with a murdering dictator running the joint to decide who lives and who dies. These snot-nosed babies live in the movies and video games. Reality does not exist in their worlds.

And they lived in one of the richest counties in the richest state.

These little darlings are in a big surprise when they enter the real world.

Unlike CNN and Bill Mahr, the world won’t cater to your idiotic whims.

That’s just crazy. You and I both know we’re giving them a country full of oppression and hate. Oh, duh. That would be South Africa. They’ll be lucky if they never see actual oppression and hate.

This is all too perfect. Looks like a Democrat stunt to me, and it doesn’t help that Debbie Schultz is nearby.

These naive and arrogant kids.. remind me of hippies and Summer of Love. Fixing the world, yeah.

Looking to make utopia and end up with dystopia.

It would be interesting to know the background of these kids; religious background, how they were brought up, family military service, etc.

I'm glad I'm nowhere within punching distance of those smelly creeps. I don't want to go to jail.

"These naive and arrogant kids.. remind me of hippies and Summer of Love. Fixing the world, yeah."

In the years since their worldview came to dominate elite society, we've seen:

Massive drug problems.
The breakdown of the family (especially the black family)and rise of divorce.
The shrinking of the middle class.
A growing gap between rich and poor.
Attacks on free speech, EXCEPT for porn and obscenity.
Coarsening of popular culture.
Declining educational standards.
Uncontrolled illegal immigration.
The criminalization of Christian belief.
Exporting millions of American jobs to other countries.

Being born and raised in the mid west, I always felt time on a working farm was of great value.

These enlightened youth could learn a great deal tossing 90 lb bales of hay on a hot, humid, sunny, windless day in mid July. For 12 hours.

These types of activities are highly character enhancing.

They have started on their life’s work and will all soon be very rich.

Bill Maher should be worried that so many kids now graduate with such a limited skill sets that they may only be qualified to replace him.

Didn’t the Khmer rouge use children to execute the political prisoners?
